Sell and book
Services and bookings
List your services, set your hours, connect Google Calendar, and let the assistant offer only the times that are free.
On this page
This guide is for clinics, salons, agencies and anyone who sells time. If you sell products, read catalogue and orders.
Add your services
Under Services, add each thing a customer can book:
- a name and a short description;
- how long it takes, and a buffer of free time kept after it;
- a price. Leave it empty for "price on request";
- where it happens, and whether customers can book it.
The assistant answers questions about services from here and from your documents.
Turn bookings on
In Booking settings, set your opening hours for at least one day, then switch on Take bookings. You also choose how many appointments can overlap, the minimum notice, how many days ahead people can book, and how often start times are offered. A day without hours is closed.
All times use your workspace time zone. Set it in the business profile.
Connect your calendar
Connect Google Calendar in the same place. Busy times in your calendar block bookings, and every booking is added to it. Online services get a Google Meet link.
How a booking happens
- The customer asks for a service and a day.
- The assistant offers free times, and only free times.
- The customer picks one, and the booking is created.
- The appointment appears under Appointments, marked as booked by the agent.
Your team can book from the console too, for a customer who phones. A booking that could not sync to the calendar is flagged so you can fix it.
Reschedule and cancel
A customer can ask to move or cancel an appointment in the same chat. Your team can do the same from the console.
Reminders
Reminders go out as WhatsApp template messages that Meta has approved. You write the template once, and Clarly fills in each customer's name, service and time.
Only an admin can change services and booking settings.
